Solar Eclipse Viewing at Arizona Science Center

Description:
The Solar Eclipse will not be seen as a total eclipse in Phoenix, but it will be a 60% eclipsed at maximum and just as exciting to see! Come look through Solar Filtered Telescopes as the Eclipse happens from 9am to 12pm Phoenix time, with maximum around 10:10-10:20 a.m. There will be Q&A for the kids to win prizes, info about upcoming free events with the Phoenix Astronomical Society, free Solar Viewing Glasses given to first 50 families, and more. PAS will be set up in Heritage Square on this morning. This event is weather permitting: please check the website for updates before you attend.
